COVID-19 Pandemic Response

In light of this unprecedented time the John T. Vucurevich Foundation is adjusting to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are assessing how JTVF can be most supportive to our communities. While the Foundation continues responding to the pandemic, we have also reopened our regular grantmaking application process. Please refer to the “How to Apply for a Grant” page to learn about our application process. Call 605-343-3141 or contact us if you have questions.

The John T. Vucurevich Foundation is a private foundation described in Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.  Our founder, John T. Vucurevich, believed in helping those in need and established the Foundation to “to make a piece of the world a brighter place.”

The Foundation honors and builds on the personal legacy of giving of John T. Vucurevich, awarding grants to organizations assisting individuals and families moving out of poverty into prosperity. JTVF establishes partnerships with local, regional and national foundations, organizations, philanthropists, community leaders, governments and schools.  We work to understand issues and collaborate with others to solve specific problem areas, creating a sense of shared responsibility among partners to promote long-term sustainable change.
